About Surrey Padel Club

Surrey is home to 2 highly rated Padel Clubs, Esher Tennis and Padel Club and Weybridge Padel Club

Padel is currently the world’s fastest growing sport, and it seems that Surrey are already switched on to this! Esher Tennis and Padel Club invested in 2 high end courts, which have been open since 1st May 2021. You’ll need a membership to play, however rackets and balls are provided by the club, so newbies wanting to explore Padel can give it a go with ease, and little investment.

Weybridge Padel Club is home to the first padel court in Surrey, giving local padel enthusiasts a place to indulge in their favourite sport, just a stone’s throw away from Weybridge town centre. The court was built by David and Debbie Garrett, the couple fell in love with the game when in Spain, and after the frustration of lack of UK padel courts, decided to build their own court, and club community.

Location(s)

Esher Tennis and Padel Club is located at 7 Milbourne Lane, Surrey, KT10 9DU. At the club you’ll find free parking and friendly staff to help you on your way.

Weybridge Padel Club is set in the idyllic grounds of the Bannatyne Spa Weybridge, Walton Lane, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8QA. This club is set in luxurious grounds, surrounded by 30 acres of countryside. If you fancy a swim or coffee after your game you can always pop next door to Bannatynes to relax!

Padel Facilities

Both Weybridge and Esher Padel Club require a membership to play. A year long membership for Weybridge costs £60 per year, with court fees of £28 for 1 hour and a half use (£7 per person). If you’re a member of the neighbouring Bannatynes Spa the yearly membership will be reduced to £40 per year, with the court fees reduced to £24 per 1.5 hours. At Esher Padel Club expect to pay £240, this fee will entitle you to 11 months membership, with no court fees.

Weybridge’s court has been built with toughened glass walls, and you’d be playing on artificial grass. There are always rackets on hand to borrow, free of charge, so just bring yourself and a few friends or family and enjoy the sport. All members can benefit from 15% off padel equipment from Gannon Sports, with free postage and brands like Head, Dunlop and Babolat to choose from. This club was built out of passion for Padel and the couple still regularly play, the cheaper pricing and single court give this a very personal, friendly community vibe.

Esher Tennis and Padel Club has 2 floodlit padel courts and 9 tennis courts. This club is larger than Weybridge, and features a clubhouse with a cafe and bar, open to members on Tuesday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Here you can enroll in Padel coaching, so if you’re new to Padel, or would just like to improve your technique, Esher Padel Club is the place for you.
