Chesham, Buckinghamshire, has welcomed a thrilling addition to its recreational offerings with the unveiling of two state-of-the-art padel courts, courtesy of Game4Padel.
Situated within the Chesham 1879 Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, these courts became accessible to club members earlier this month. (November 23) Padel has taken the global sports scene by storm, boasting an estimated 25 million players across 100 different countries. Experts claim that we should see Padel as an official Olympic sport by 2032, underlining its growing global significance.
Game4Padel’s co-founder and CEO, Michael Gradon, stated that “The past year has seen an unprecedented demand for new padel courts across the country. It’s gaining tremendous momentum as more individuals are captivated by this engaging and enjoyable sport.”
He added, “Padel is remarkably easy to pick up, encourages social interaction, suits individuals of all ages and skill levels, and offers a plethora of mental and physical benefits.”
With the sport increasing popularity you may also see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Andy Murray, David Beckham, Jurgen Klopp, Bradley Walsh, Elle MacPherson, and Nicole Scherzinger enjoying a spot of padel.
