Chigwell Padel Club is integrated within David Lloyd Chigwell, situated beside the River Roding in Chigwell, Essex, just 12 miles from the centre of London.
Located just a stone’s throw from Epping Forest, this padel club is a top rated fitness club for the whole family to enjoy. David Lloyd Leisure were the first to bring padel to the UK, funding the UK’s very first 6 courts following tennis enthusiasts returning from holidays in Spain, demanding a place to play padel close to home.
David Lloyd Chigwell is home to 3 padel courts, each court is enclosed as built to a high standard, so you can play your best game ever on a great court. All 3 padel courts are indoors so you can rest assured knowing that the weather won’t get in the way of your game at David Lloyd Chigwell.
Victor Perez Rodriguez is the head padel coach at the club and has 20+ years experience training padel players and coaches around the world. This club is set in David Lloyd Chigwell, just off the M11, and close to the scenic Roding Valley Lake which is surrounded by many other sports clubs includings Buckhurst Hill Football Club, Roding Valley Cricket Club and Buckhurst Hill Cricket & Lacrosse Club – it’s the sporting hub for all locals!
Padel Facilities
David Lloyd Chigwell Padel Club is a great choice for both newbies and those with more experience with the racket sport. Padel beginners can pay a one off fee to use the courts, meaning little commitment is required. For those who would like to sign up for a longer membership you will be paying approximately £70 – £100 per month, with the price depending on the level of membership you choose, which time you use the facilities and the number of people signing up (family, adult or student membership etc).
The club has a luxury feel, with the David Lloyd high standard being present throughout the club. In the racket sport section of the premises you’ll find 3 indoor padel courts, alongside 2 badminton courts, 8 indoor tennis courts, 5 outdoor tennis courts and 3 table tennis tables. After a game of padel you can relax in the spa, enjoy the sauna or steam room, or even head for a swim in the indoor or outdoor pool. This leisure club is huge! With some amazing facilities that will keep you and your family or friends occupied for hours!
The club offers complimentary wifi, on site parking and use of the restaurant for all visiting non-members and members. So if you’ve worked up an appetite after a game of padel or two, why not try some of the food and drink created by chefs, nutritionists and fitness experts from the friendly onsite restaurant.
